You can visit also the  Santuario of la Verna (where Saint Francis is said to have received the holy stigma) and Caprese Michelangelo, birthplace of Michelangelo Buonarroti.

Factory of Germagnano

We You might also like to visit the natural nature reserve of Park of Germagnano where many of the highlights you could meet along your amble might be fallow deer, roe deer, families of wild boar, cow pastures.

You could visit a farm where they produce mozzarella like you have never eaten before. You could visit a farm where they produce special cheeses known only to Tuscany, or visit a farm for the special Tuscany cow, known as “chianina “.. a speciality to our territory.

Cortona

Also well worth a cultural visit are the nearby historical market towns of Arezzo and Citta di Castello. Cortona and Siena, just over I hours drive, are not to be missed. Of course if your wish is wine tasting, tours can be organized in the famous Chianti valley…a wonderful experience.
